Sir,

May I draw your kind attention towards the menance of stray animals on the roads.

I accept that the cow i considered a sacred animal in India. It gives us milk, the staple diet of children. We call her mother cow. Our scriptures also tell us to worship the cow. We call the dog as a faithful animal and the monkey as a religious animal.

However, I cant help saying that stray cows are mostly dry and old. Animals are of no use for their owners. They are let loose to sit down in the middle of the road, causing traffic jams. They are very troublesome in the crowded vegetable market. They eat up a lot of green vegetables. Sometimes they take away mouthfuls of rice from the grocer’s shop.

The stray dogs bark loudly and chase the cyclists and scooterists. Similar is the plight of monkeys. They snatch the packets from the hands of children and run away.

All these animals defecate on the roads and make them dirty and foul smelling. They also cause road accidents.

Kindly direct your official to round up stray animals for the safty of the people. This problem needs urgent attention.

महोदय,

मैं सड़कों पर आवारा पशुओं के शिकार की ओर आपका ध्यान आकर्षित करना चाहता हूं। मैं जनता हूं कि भारत में गाय को एक पवित्र जानवर माना जाता है । यह हमें दूध, जो बच्चों का मुख्य आहार देता है। हम उसेको गाय माता कहते हैं। हमारे शास्त्र भी हमें गाय की पूजा करने के लिए कहते हैं। हम कुत्तो को एक वफादार जानवर और बंदर को धार्मिक जानवर कहते हैं।

 

हालांकि, मैं यह कहना चाहता हूँ कि आवारा गाय ज्यादातर बूढी और बीमार हैं। वे अपने मालिकों के लिए किसी काम के नहीं हैं। उन्हें सड़क के बीच में बैठने के लिए छोड़ दिया जाता है, जिससे ट्रैफिक जाम हो जाता है। भीड़-भाड़ वाली सब्जी मंडी में वे बहुत परेशान करते हैं। वे बहुत सारी हरी सब्जियां खाते हैं। कभी-कभी वे किराने की दुकान से मुंह से चावल निकाल लेते हैं।

 

आवारा कुत्ते जोर से भौंकते हैं और साइकिल चालकों और स्कूटरों का पीछा करते हैं। ऐसा ही हाल बंदरों का भी है। वे बच्चों के हाथों से पैकेट छीनकर भाग जाते हैं।

 

ये सभी जानवर सड़कों पर शौच करते हैं और सड़को और गलियों को गंदा और बदबूदार बनाते हैं। इतना ही नहीं वे सड़क दुर्घटनाओं का कारण भी बनते हैं। लोगों की सुरक्षा के लिए आवारा जानवरों को राउंड अप करने के लिए कृपया अपने अधिकारी को निर्देशित करें। इस समस्या पर तत्काल ध्यान देने की आवश्यकता है।
