Dear Sir,

We, the residents of Shivaji Colony face the following difficulties which require your immediate attention.

It is the rainy season. The rain water collects on the roads and in the streets. Mosquitoes breed in the dirty water of the pits. The drain was not cleaned and washed regularly.

 

The Streets and roads are swept only on ceremonial occasions and the dirt is thrown in the drains. As a result, the drains remain choked. The water supply is also quite scanty and irregular. The heaps of dirt and rubbish are a common sight in the corners of the street. They give out a foul and stinking smell every time.

In a nutshell, unhygienic conditions prevail in our colony. Malaria, Cholera or flu can break out sooner or later in our colony.

You are therefore, requested to look into the matter personally and take prompt action to remove the genuine difficulties of the residents or our colony.

हम, शिवाजी कॉलोनी के निवासियों को निम्नलिखित कठिनाइयों का सामना करना पड़ता है, जिन पर आपको तत्काल ध्यान देने की आवश्यकता है। 

 

बारिश का मौसम है। बारिश का पानी सड़कों और गलियों में इकट्ठा होता है। गड्ढों के गंदे पानी में मच्छर पनपते हैं। नाली को नियमित रूप से साफ और धोया नहीं जाता। सड़कें केवल औपचारिक अवसरों पर साफ़ की जाती हैं और नालियों में सारी गंदगी डाल दी जाती है।

 

नतीजतन, नालियाँ बंद हो गईं है। पानी की आपूर्ति भी काफी कम और अनियमित है। गली के कोनों में गंदगी और कूड़े के ढेर आम दृश्य हैं। और वे काफी दुर्गंध और बदबू फैलाते हैं।

 

संक्षेप में, हमारी कॉलोनी में अस्वच्छता की स्थिति बनी रहती है। मलेरिया, हैजा या फ़्लू हमारी कॉलोनी में जल्द या बाद में आ सकते हैं।

 

इसलिए आपसे अनुरोध है कि इस मामले को व्यक्तिगत रूप से देखें और निवासियों या हमारी कॉलोनी की वास्तविक कठिनाइयों को दूर करने के लिए तुरंत कार्रवाई करें।
